Rasprava u parlamentu je završena još u septembru, ali kada je došao na red za glasanje, nije bilo kvoruma za njegovo usvajanje. Tako je ostao ”na čekanju”, zajedno sa zakonom o patentima, s kojim je stigao ”u paketu”.

- Zakon o izmenama zakona o autorskim i srodnim pravima nije usvojen zato što je vladajuća koalicija izgubila većinu na toj sednici, i to na zakonu o železnici, pa nije ni bilo glasanja - kaže Bojan Đurić, poslanik LDP.

I dok se čeka usvajanje ovog zakona, koji će udariti na biznis štancovanja knjiga, beogradske fotokopirnice rade punom parom. Studenti mogu sami da donesu udžbenike ili da naruče naslove koje žele iz asortimana fotokopirnice.

A kada zakon stupi na snagu, pune ruke posla u fotokopirnicama imaće - tržišna inspekcija. Ona će proveravati da li neko umnožava cele knjige i pisati kazne za taj prekršaj. Novčane kazne biće od 10.000 do tri miliona dinara, a prestupnici mogu da završe i u zatvoru od tri do pet godina. Biće kažnjavani i oni koji umnožavaju i oni koji naručuju.

Dakle, ako neko prekrši zakon kao brucoš, izaći će iz zatvora kada njegova generacija već diplomira!

Kazne će pisati inspekcija, ali krivci će zbog fotokopiranja na sud moći da dospeju i ako ih tuži sam autor ili nosilac autorskih prava.
